What This Is?


The Mod Xaero's minimap can allow players to gain advantage by spotting entities or caves on the minimap. This plugin lets you completely disable the mod or enable a "fair-play" mode to level the playing field.

How to Use?

Fair-Mode: Hides entities from both the minimap and worldmap, and disables the cave mode for both maps.

Disable: Completely hides the minimap HUD.

The plugin now supports Global settings and Per-World overrides! You can enforce different rules for the Overworld, Nether, or End.

Commands:

Manage everything with one unified command:
/xaero [scope] [setting] [value]
  • Scope: global or a world name (e.g., world_nether)
  • Setting: fair-mode or disable
  • Value: true, false, or null (unset/inherit from global)

Examples:

  • Enable Fair-Mode globally: /xaero global fair-mode true
  • Disable minimap completely in the Nether: /xaero world_nether disable true
  • Reload config: /xaero reload

Permissions:

  • xaero.edit: Allows using configuration commands (Default: OP).
  • xaero.ignoredisable: Bypasses the map disabling packet.
  • xaero.ignorefair: Bypasses the fair mode limitation.

Why Is There an Empty Message?

The empty message in chat appears because this plugin works by sending invisible chat codes to the client. Minecraft renders these as empty lines in the chatbox.
