Team Chat REQUIRES Discord to function.

  • The ONLY way to use this mod is by joining our official Discord.
  • We DO NOT ask for emails, verification codes, or passwords.
  • If anyone asks for your email, verification code, or account info claiming to be Team Chat — DO NOT TRUST THEM.
  • Registration happens only through Discord commands.

A lightweight client-side mod that allows private messaging across servers — backed by our hosted Team Chat server and Discord.

This mod lets you:

  • Message teammates even if they are on a different Minecraft server
  • Communicate directly between players without relying on in-game proximity or server chat
  • Stay connected with your team regardless of where they are playing

Requirement: You must be in our Discord to use Team Chat.

What This Mod Is

Team Chat is NOT local chat and NOT server chat.

  • Messages are sent through the Team Chat server
  • Works across different servers, different worlds, and different locations
  • Ideal for teams, friends, and groups playing separately

Features

  • Client-only mod.
  • Custom teams with join codes.
  • Create up to 5 teams; join unlimited teams (for now).
  • Per-user labels for teams (example: “Team 1”, “Raid”).
  • Session controls:
    • away
    • leave

    • return
    • disband (leader-only)
  • Local authentication:
    • token
    • optional pin
    • stored locally on your PC
  • Commands available for:
    • connection
    • authentication
    • team management
    • messaging

Limits & Notes

  • Team names and labels are max 32 characters.
  • Labels are per-user — only you see them.
  • Messages are real-time only.
  • Discord messages sent to clients have new lines removed for safety/consistency.

Security Notes

  • We will never DM you asking for private information.
  • Tokens and pins are generated via Discord commands only.
  • Allowing Discord DMs is optional — you’ll still receive your token either way.
  • Report suspicious behavior to staff immediately.
