The wait is over! xChat 2.0 is much more than a simple update; it's a complete rewrite designed to give you absolute control over chat and interaction on your server. We've listened to the community and added an arsenal of new features that will transform xChat from a simple chat formatter into an indispensable management suite.

🚀 New Features! We have massively expanded the plugin's capabilities with brand-new modules:

🛡️ Advanced Filter System:

Anti-Repetition: Prevents players from sending the same message over and over.

Anti-Space Spam: Blocks messages with excessive spaces (e.g., "h e l l o").

Improved Anti-Advertising and Anti-Swearing: More efficient systems to keep your chat clean, now also in private messages!

🎨 Chat Color Control:

Anti-Color Codes: Prevents users without permission (xchat.colors) from using & or # in the chat.

Colorful Chat: Allow your VIPs and Staff to use hex color codes (&#RRGGBB) and color codes (&a) if they have the permission!

⚙️ New Interaction Commands:

/live <link>: Allows your streamers to announce that they are live.

/subtitle <player> <message>: Sends a message to a player's action bar.

/countdown <seconds>: Starts a global countdown with titles and sounds.

/ping, /discord, /website: Essential utility commands that every server needs.

✨ User Experience Improvements:

Welcome Messages: Greet your players with a fully customizable message when they join.

Unknown Command Handler: Replaces Minecraft's ugly "Unknown command" message with your own custom message.

⚠️ Attention! Major Configuration Changes With this major update, we have separated the configuration to make it easier to manage:

📄 New messages.yml!: All plugin messages, from errors to PM formats, have been moved to messages.yml. You can now easily translate or customize every word of the plugin!

To update correctly from v1.0.1, it is MANDATORY that you delete your old configuration folder (plugins/xChat/). Back up your formats if you wish, and let the plugin generate the new files upon restarting.
