From the Caves introduces a single stalking entity that follows your journey through caves and the surface alike. It can interact with the world in many ways, affecting blocks and mobs to create unpredictable situations. The mod features a deep lore inspired by films and real-world stories, slowly revealed as you explore some of the structures that this mod offers.

Advancing through its phase system requires player action. You must free it, provoke it, or take specific steps to push the entity forward. There are two phases for now, with more planned for the future. The mod also adds unique blocks and items that play important roles in its mechanics.

Once released, the entity can haunt you both underground and above, sometimes watching from afar, other times possessing blocks or entities, creating sudden scares. It can manifest in different ways and take on multiple physical forms, changing how it behaves and how you experience its presence.
